    This is the 3d location for Stone Table in the last 20+/- yrs. I like it. On a historic downtown corner. High ceilings, a simple, pleasant feel, they could use a few decorator touches. Their food is always good, and fits their sligan, A Modern Southern Kitchen. The service and plating is good. A friend got their specialty they call Whimsy: tell them what you want, and what you don't want, and they will put together an imaginative main course. Hers was terrific. I am planning to bring a friend here who has some serious food allergies and preference issues. This is a nice stop if you're in Monroe.
